With over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, my passion for numbers and helping businesses started early. During my senior year of high school, I discovered an interest in finance and knew it was something I wanted to pursue in college.

While attending school, I was fortunate to find a local bookkeeping company that gave me the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the accounting field. What started as a job quickly became something much more meaningful—a valuable mentorship and a lifelong friendship that helped shape my career.

Over the years, I continued to grow professionally, working my way from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant, Senior Team Lead, and eventually Director of Accounting Onboarding. Each role gave me the opportunity to strengthen my accounting knowledge, develop strong organizational skills, and, most importantly, learn how to support businesses and the people behind them.

Today, I’m excited to take everything I’ve learned throughout my career and put it toward something of my own. I founded Bookkeeping with MJ to provide small business owners with reliable, personalized bookkeeping support so they can have a better understanding of their finances and spend more time focusing on what they do best.

I believe bookkeeping should be more than just keeping the books—it should give business owners confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.
